Warehouses

Overview

Warehouses in the system represent physical or virtual storage locations where Cola Solar keeps stock. Every stock transaction — receipt, transfer, delivery — references a warehouse.

To access: Stock → Warehouse

Viewing Warehouses

Go to Stock → Warehouse to see the full warehouse tree. Cola Solar warehouses are organized hierarchically — the main store at the top with sub-locations below.

Creating a New Warehouse

  1. Go to Stock → Warehouse → New
  2. Enter the Warehouse Name
  3. Select the Parent Warehouse — the location it sits under
  4. Select the Company — Cola Solar Nigeria Limited
  5. Set Warehouse Type if needed — e.g. Transit, Stores
  6. Click Save

Every warehouse is automatically suffixed with the company abbreviation for clarity.

Checking Stock in a Warehouse

  1. Go to Stock → Stock Balance
  2. Filter by Warehouse
  3. Set the date range
  4. Click Refresh

This shows every item and its current quantity in that warehouse.
